How is the route set up?

The area is mapped once, then stopping points and travel rules are defined in software. Changing a stop later does not mean changing the floor.

Can it use a lift or pass through doors?

It can where the lift or door can be interfaced and the timing works. This is reviewed as part of the route, not assumed.

What happens if something blocks the aisle?

The vehicle stops and waits, or re-plans around the obstruction if there is room. Someone on site still needs to clear a persistent blockage.

How many vehicles will I need?

That comes from the run count per shift and the round-trip time on your route. Both are established during the review.
