Common questions about dispensing, coating, and finishing systems.

Can one system do both dispensing and coating?

Sometimes, with a tool change. But the containment and material supply are usually what separate them, not the robot.

Does the part have to be held perfectly?

It has to be held repeatably. The path assumes a position, so fixture consistency matters more than absolute accuracy.

What confirms the result?

Vision or a coverage check, depending on the process. This is agreed before the system is built, not added later.

Is finishing the same as deburring?

Deburring, polishing, and blending are all handled here. Tool wear and media handling are as much of the scope as the robot path.
